EGIPTO 1979.
Frank Sinatra traveled to Egypt 40 years ago today to perform at the base of the Great Pyramid of Giza on September 27, 1979 at the invitation of Egypt’s First Lady Madame Jehan Anwar Sadat. “Gala Amidst The Pyramids” raised over half a million dollars to fund the Faith and Hope Rehabilitation Center in Cairo.
